Amazon Leo, an ambitious effort to provide internet service via satellite, has faced multiple setbacks. The project intends to deploy thousands of satellites at an altitude of 370 miles. These delays have impeded its progress significantly.

Back in the summer of 2019, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos articulated his vision for satellite-based broadband from a stage in Las Vegas.
