An Australian tourist, Sally Grace Contarino, aged 26, has been missing in Las Vegas for three weeks, causing concern among her family and friends. Originally from Melbourne, Australia, she vanished after sending a message about going for a hike on June 20, according to a report by the New York Post.
Authorities report that Contarino flew from Melbourne on June 13. By June 18, she confirmed her arrival at her hotel located downtown in Las Vegas, as reported by KLAS. The last confirmed sighting of her was at 9700 West Skye Canyon Drive on June 20.
Red Rock Search & Rescue, a Las Vegas-based non-profit organization, has issued an alert seeking help from the public. They emphasized that Contarino did not return home as planned after visiting Las Vegas, Mt. Charleston, and Southern California.
The Australian Consulate in Los Angeles contacted the Las Vegas Metro Police after Victorian Police in Australia submitted a missing person report. The search and rescue organization urged anyone with relevant information to come forward and contact the authorities.
