Buffalo Bills Receive Positive News on DJ Moore’s Injury

1 hour ago 0

The Buffalo Bills had some positive injury news following their close 29–26 defeat to the New England Patriots on Sunday. Wide receiver DJ Moore exited the game in the second quarter after injuring his left shoulder during a play with quarterback Josh Allen. Moore had previously hurt this shoulder in Week 2 and has limited his practice participation since then. Concerns rose that Moore might have to miss upcoming games if the injury worsened.

Fortunately, Moore did re-aggravate his shoulder but the injury is not considered a long-term issue, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. This brings relief to the Bills as there is potential for Moore to play in Week 5. The team benefits from an extra day of rest with their next game scheduled for “Monday Night Football” against the Los Angeles Rams.

Having Moore available would be crucial against the unpredictable Rams. Moore was a key player for Allen, catching 11 passes for 167 yards in the first three weeks. On Sunday, Keon Coleman emerged as the leading receiver while Moore exited early, now totaling 217 yards this season.

Coleman aims to prove his worth, especially after being at the center of a draft controversy in 2024 when concerns about his performance led to inactivity in several games last season. The trade for Moore shifted focus but provided Coleman an opportunity to be a reliable secondary option for Allen.
