Los Angeles County election officials are diligently processing ballots from the recent primary. As of Wednesday evening, 77,521 ballots have been processed, bringing the total tally to nearly 1.4 million. This accounts for approximately 23.7% of registered voters. Remaining ballots include:
- Vote-by-mail ballots: 700,000
- Conditional voter registration ballots: 11,340
- Provisional ballots: 1,840
The outstanding ballots encompass those postmarked by election day, those received on Wednesday, and others from drop boxes and vote centers. Adjustments to these estimates may occur as ballots continue to be processed.
Los Angeles Mayoral Race
