Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu shed light on his professional relationship with President Donald Trump. He dismissed ideas of either leader dominating the other’s decisions, instead emphasizing a partnership built on mutual respect despite occasional differences.

“We are allies. He’s the senior partner. We’re the junior partner, obviously, but we treat each other with tremendous respect,” Netanyahu remarked during the “Hanging Out with Sean Hannity” podcast.

While admitting that he and Trump do not agree on every issue, Netanyahu noted that they agree “most of the time” and stand united on the issues of greatest significance.

He stated, “On the main things, we agree, and we respect each other, and I respect him enormously.”

Netanyahu appreciated Trump’s leadership style as crucial to their effective collaboration. He described Trump as an “irreverent” figure who challenges conventions.

“He just says what he thinks, and his basic instincts are always on target, and he cuts to the chase,” Netanyahu added.

Despite criticism from both sides of the Atlantic, the two leaders have maintained alignment on several key regional issues, including stopping Iran’s nuclear efforts and fostering Middle East peace.

Netanyahu humorously responded to rumors about their power dynamics, noting that while Americans believe he controls Trump, Israelis think Trump controls him.
