Rosie O’Donnell Criticizes ICE and Trump in Viral TikTok Video

4 weeks ago 0

Rosie O’Donnell expressed strong opinions about ICE facilities, likening them to concentration camps from Nazi Germany. Her comments came in a TikTok video on a Friday, where she spoke about various issues, including the recent death of Dolly Parton. O’Donnell criticized the Trump administration, reflecting on the vow ‘Never Again’ made after the Holocaust.

In the video, O’Donnell suggested that fascism is prevalent in the United States. She accused the administration of unjust and inhumane treatment of detainees in ICE facilities. O’Donnell raised concerns about the detention conditions and questioned the treatment of women and children detained there.

“We’re making concentration camps… We’re rounding up people without a warrant… We’re raping children in detention, in ICE detention. They’re all getting pregnant,” she asserted.

O’Donnell criticized President Trump, claiming he only represents affluent white men. She argued that individuals with compassion, like Dolly Parton, should lead the world.

O’Donnell’s critique is part of a longstanding condemnation of Trump and his policies. In past remarks, she compared ICE to Nazi Germany, emphasizing citizens’ rights to protest perceived atrocities.

The White House responded to O’Donnell’s remarks through spokesperson Lauren Bis, who called the comments inflammatory. Bis highlighted recent arrests made by ICE involving severe crimes, labeling O’Donnell’s comparisons as offensive and dangerous.

Rosie O’Donnell’s clash with Donald Trump is a continuation of a long-standing feud. Recently, she hosted Jimmy Kimmel’s show, where she derided Trump once more.

Media analyst Joe Concha remarked on O’Donnell’s outspoken criticism, suggesting it reflects a phenomenon he termed ‘Trump Derangement Syndrome.’ Concha criticized the decision to have O’Donnell host a show aimed at disparaging Trump rather than recognizing her comedic abilities.
