Sen. Johnson Investigates Dr. Fauci’s Vaccine Concerns

Senator Ron Johnson, a Republican from Wisconsin, is spearheading an investigation into Dr. Anthony Fauci’s old government phone records. Johnson recently highlighted a concern Fauci had about vaccines potentially causing miscarriages, describing it as ‘just the tip of the iceberg.’

In a conversation with Fox News Digital, Johnson suggested that messages from Fauci’s old government iPhone indicated discrepancies between his private thoughts and public statements regarding COVID-19 vaccines. Johnson noted that pregnant women are often advised to avoid alcohol, yet were encouraged, and sometimes mandated, to receive what he referred to as experimental gene therapy in early pregnancy stages.

“We tell pregnant women don’t even have a glass of wine and yet we coerce them, convince them, sometimes mandate them, to get an experimental gene therapy as early as the first trimester,” Johnson said. “This is truly sick.”

Recently, Fauci’s government-issued iPhone was handed to Senate investigators as discussions about holding Fauci in contempt of Congress gained momentum. Fauci chose to exercise his Fifth Amendment rights during the process.

Johnson, who oversees the Senate Homeland Security Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, released a set of private messages from the device, which detailed Fauci’s concerns about mRNA vaccines and their effects on pregnant women.

In a January 2021 exchange, Fauci communicated with then-CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky and Dr. Vivek Murthy, the future Surgeon General. Fauci expressed worry about cytokine storms and fevers caused by second vaccine doses potentially connecting to miscarriages in the first trimester.

Johnson emphasized the inconsistency between public statements and private conversations among health officials. He pointed to a 2021 study published in the New England Journal of Medicine. This study reported 104 miscarriages among 827 pregnancies exposed to the vaccines, a statistic Johnson criticized as misleading.

Johnson argued, “Of the 827 women, 700 received their vaccination in the third trimester, leaving 127 who did so in the first and second trimesters, where the 104 miscarriages occurred.” He calculated an alarming 82 percent miscarriage rate among those vaccinated in the earlier stages.

As Johnson continues probing the phone’s data, he is cautious about revealing personal details. His main goal is discovering more instances where Fauci’s private and public comments diverged.

“This is going to take time,” Johnson remarked. “This information immediately impacts public safety and informed consent. I had to get this one out there quickly, but I’m sure more findings will emerge.”

Fox News Digital has not yet received feedback from Fauci’s legal representatives. The investigation remains ongoing.
